A Black Belt in Genpact is responsible for delivering tangible benefits and reducing costs by improving business processes, solving problems, and inspiring change within the organization. Black Belts ensure alignment of Quality initiatives with the company's strategic initiatives and help implement a culture of continuous improvement through "leading by example" and facilitating the delivery of business impact/results.
ResponsibilitiesProviding Team Leadership in the application of Lean & Six Sigma tools and Process Excellence methodology;Work closely with Operation and Functional Teams to identify process monetizable opportunities, process bottlenecks to drive stabilization, conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements across the business or organization;Initiating and leading projects that improve end-to-end processes; Setting, validating and auditing measurement systems to deliver business impact;Building Process Excellence culture in the team; Driving productivity and process improvement projects aligned with business initiatives;Supporting Transition teams in volume analysis, metric baselining and target setting for new processes;Driving Standardization and Global Best Practices within the organization;Conducting Quality Awareness Trainings within the organization;Coaching & Mentoring Green Belts and Project teams to fulfill certification requirements, quality, and process improvement objectives;Conceptualizing and completing Black Belt (BB) projects aimed at driving End-to-End business impact to processes;Fulfilling the requirements and Achieve BB Certification within 18-24 months;Drive project management to deliver Digital deployments.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum qualificationsExperience in Process Improvement Methodologies [Lean, Six Sigma and/or Processes Re-engineering, others] – Application & Execution;Green Belt certification; Analytics Skills;Black Belt/ Lean/ any other Quality Certification would be a plus;Excellent Communication.Preferred qualificationsSelf-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team;Organized person with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different tasks;Excellent analytical skills;Ability to handle clients on a one-on-one basis, via e-mails and calls;Excellent communication skills at all levels of Genpact and customer organizations;Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills;Incredibly good problem-solving abilities and innovative approach;Particularly good change management abilities;Energetic personality with a positive, enthusiastic attitude;Ability to work and act independently;Coaching skills – the individual should be able to coach and organize less experienced or new team members.Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
