Senior Java Developer

Drake's top client – a global IT consulting firm specializing in digital transformation, data analytics, application development, and IT modernization across various industries, is currently hiring a Senior Developer-Java to be part of their collaborative team in Makati City!

Responsibilities
• Deliver software products based on detailed requirements and ensure that they meet the specified functionality.
• Ensure all programs are fully tested and documented, adhering to the company's development guidelines and best practices.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as required.
• Maintain the security of customer and company information in line with the acceptable use policy and other published security standards.
• Collaborate with both internal and external customers to define requirements and develop efficient solutions.
• Work within a cross-functional team in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality products to external customers.

Qualifications
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Java Development with React JS, SpringBoot, and exposure to legacy systems.
Java Basic:
• Strong understanding of OOP Concepts.
• Familiarity with the pillars of Java.
Java Advanced:
• Deep knowledge of Collections, IO, JDBC, Threads, and Generics.
Java EE:
• Expertise in Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience in developing Web Services (SOAP and REST).
Additional Skills:
• Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, AngularJS, React.
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
• Understanding of UML and Design Patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot effectively.
