Senior IT Operations Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Operations Lead to oversee our IT operations team and ensure the seamless delivery of IT services across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Manage and mentor a team of IT operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems and services.Lead the incident management process, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing service disruptions. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.Manage IT projects related to infrastructure, application deployment, and system upgrades, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Monitor system performance and capacity, making recommendations for upgrades or adjustments to meet changing business needs.Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure service levels are met and contracts are managed effectively.Assist in the development and management of the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.Ensure that IT operations comply with relevant regulations and security standards, implementing policies and procedures to safeguard organizational data. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum 6 years of experience in IT operations management, with a focus on infrastructure and service delivery.Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.Extensive knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and best practices.Experience with monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies is a plus.
