Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Lead the recruitment and hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees across retail and distribution teams.Develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff, focusing on customer service, sales techniques, and operational efficiency.Manage employee relations, address issues and grievances, and support management in disciplinary actions to maintain a positive workplace culture.Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and the implementation of performance improvement plans.Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, and maintain accurate employee records.Develop employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, team-building activities, and retention strategies.Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and ensure that HR strategies align with business objectives.Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends.Manage workplace safety programs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across retail locations.Provide HR insights and support during business reviews and contribute to strategic planning efforts. The Successful Applicant Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.Minimum of 5-7 years of HR management experience, preferably in a retail or sales-driven environment.Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative HR solutions.Experience in developing and implementing training programs is preferred.
