PRIMARY PURPOSE: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst with strong business analysis skills to join our Finance team. This role is crucial in driving data-driven decisions and delivering insights within our commercial category. You will work closely with category managers to ensure accurate, timely financial insights and recommendations while also maintaining system integrity. Proficiency with IBM TM1 is essential, as is the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies. Experience with Power BI will be viewed favorably.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Category & Business Analysis: Leverage strong business analysis skills to deliver deep-dive analysis into commercial categories, working closely with category managers to support data-driven decisions and uncover growth opportunities.EBITDA Analysis: Oversee weekly EBITDA reporting for the group, providing meaningful insights into profitability and performance to support financial goals.Weekly Reporting: Compile, analyze, and report on commercial sales performance and category-specific insights, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in weekly deliverables.Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, working with cross-functional teams to ensure projections align with company objectives.Category & Business Analysis: Leverage strong business analysis skills to deliver deep-dive analysis into commercial categories, working closely with category managers to support data-driven decisions and uncover growth opportunities.Technical System Management (IBM TM1): Utilize IBM TM1 to manage data integrity across multiple sources, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reporting. Maintain system structure, troubleshoot issues, and streamline data flows to support reporting needs.Decision Support & Strategy Development: Provide actionable insights and recommendations that empower category managers and other stakeholders to make informed, strategic decisions.Process Improvement: Continuously seek to enhance reporting processes, analytical frameworks, and system functionalities to improve accuracy and efficiency, integrating best practices in business analysis.Power BI Reporting (Will be viewed favourably): Apply Power BI skills to develop data visualizations and insights that support strategic planning and business analysis.KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION IBM TM1 experience managing data from multiple sources for accurate reporting.Strong skills in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial reporting.Excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with category managers and other stakeholders.Power BI experience is highly regarded and will be viewed favorably.
