In your new role you will: Develop and maintain automation workflows in VMware vRealize Orchestrator to streamline IT operations. Integrate VRO with ITSM tools to automate service request fulfillment, incident management, and change processes. Collaborate with IT teams to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure high availability and optimal performance of the VRO environment. Create and maintain documentation for automation workflows, including technical specifications and process diagrams. Conduct regular reviews and updates of automation scripts to align with evolving IT infrastructure and business needs. Provide training and support to IT staff on utilizing automation workflows effectively. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of automation, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay abreast of the latest developments in automation technologies and ITSM best practices. You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience with VMware vRealize Orchestrator and ITSM platforms. Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud computing. Experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
