About The Role: We are looking for an experienced Digital Engineering Manager to support the execution of a comprehensive digital transformation program within a multinational construction company. The Senior Digital Engineering Manager will be instrumental in pioneering efficient and innovative digital methodologies aligned with the company's digital transformation objectives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing digital engineering workflows and supporting the deployment of new ways of working.

Your Responsibilities: Demonstrate a personal commitment to the company's Cultural Framework, policies, Safety Essentials, and Management System requirements and expectations; Develop and maintain an awareness of hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimize those risks; Understand and effectively undertake the company's accountabilities. Has detailed experience in using digital tools and workflows for the following:

Development of Construction Digital Twin Construction Visual Planning VR & AR 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D & 7D methodologies Management of Digital Controls and Standards, prescription of LOD/LOI tables and pass down into supply and procurement. Population of the Asset Database, focusing on Commissioning Activities and Asset Information. Producing BOQ and Cost Planning inputs from the model Understand the importance of a standard consistent naming convention for all functions, across all projects. Measure the embodied carbon in the materials of the reference design and final design. Integrating data systems to sync files without downloading/uploading manually Linking records to a modelled object or physical location Produce the program from the model Collecting data from multiple systems and projects into a single cloud-based platform for reporting and dashboarding Understand and ability to document a Digital Engineering Management Plan Understand compilation and management of the MIDP Experienced in development of BIM LOD & LOI requirements Establish project Common Data Environment Develop automated processes and reporting for DE tasks Experience in developing DE training for all project stakeholders Experience in setting up of project-specific model authoring templates Experienced in establishing a DE Coordination programme Excellent BIM coordination skills. BIM model management and QA model geometry and data Enabling Value Engineering reviews of consultant designs via the use of Digital tools and workflows Assisting with the preparation of accurate monthly reports Identify and agree any co-located or shared technical infrastructure needs, software package interoperability requirements and standards to be used by each team member to deliver PIM Provide leadership to facilitate meeting the development of Digital Engineering workflows. Engage with all stakeholders as necessary to implement Digital Engineering best practices. Issue directions on Digital Engineering related issues Ensuring role clarity, including responsibilities and reporting lines, exists for team members Identifying resource and skill gaps and developing strategies to bridge gaps Responsible for collaboration with the Discipline subject matter experts including the Spatial/GIS Lead, Survey Lead, Quality Lead, Project Controls Lead and other Technical Deliverable Leads. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and all Company policies and processes. Develop a sense of responsibility for own actions (and those of others) and face challenges openly by:

Performing delegated tasks as per the projects Senior Management. Presenting ideas for improvement or innovation to the projects Senior Management in a manner that is supported by relevant research. Assists in maintaining a high quality of all deliverables. Mentoring and training capability to junior staff as required. Ensuring knowledge transfer is happening via training and mentoring of junior staff. Assisting staff in carrying out technical tasks (junior and senior staff). Conducting tasks in a manner which is consistent with CPB standards. Encouraging innovation and staff development Comprehensive skills in the operation of collaboration tools What our Client is Looking For: Minimum 15+ years experience in delivering major infrastructure projects Experience in Managing Digital Engineering through design and construction phase of major infrastructure projects. Ability to influence with strong management skills. Comfortable engaging with all project stakeholders. Lead, engage and inspire stakeholders to adopt digital processes and technology. Experience in developing strategy for full project lifecycle approach to digital delivery Demonstrated experience in identifying project information requirements and managing digital data across major infrastructure projects Understanding the contractual obligations in the delivery of project Digital Engineering Management Plan (DEMP) and associated subplans. Understanding of link between BIM, CAD, GIS, Survey and O&M Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning ahead for duration of design and construction deliverables, reporting against plan and cost. High level of design coordination and technical understanding. Development and implementation of project standards, methods and procedures in accordance with ISO19650 Proficient use of Digital Engineering technology including data interoperability and information exchange processes Proficient in automation of federating digital information and structured data models. Support project teams reporting through setting up of PowerBi reports from PIM Excellent general design and construction knowledge. Excellent communication skills – both oral and written. Team player, cooperative with other staff with open sharing of information and knowledge. Analytical and strategic thinking Able to manage peak work periods for delivery and stressful periods.
