Senior Design Associate

Position Summary:
The Senior Design Associate develops creative ideas/concepts and designs a variety of
products such as but not limited to logos, infographics, reports, white papers and editorial
publications.
He/She generates ideas and sells them to clients and other members of the
team and is the creative driving force behind the conceptualization of a project.
The Senior Design Associate works independently and ensures quality standards and
deadlines are met and a high level of customer service is provided.
Requirements:
• Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator– with focus on Indesign and other layout
tools)
• With 5 or more years of layout and graphic design experience
• MS PowerPoint, Word, Blender and other Motion Design tool is an advantage
• Communication skills
• Ability to understand brief and respond with ideas
• Knowledge of Web/HTML/Motion Graphics and Web design tools is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Communication (35%)
• Takes briefs with clients or art director to determine the scope of a project; offers on the
spot design
solutions and recommendations
• Creates mood boards that articulate the design direction taken in a way that can be
readily followed
by the audience
Production (60%)
• Conceptualizes and pushes boundaries of artworks from the client briefs o Suggests
message,
style, or media that should be used based on the design brief
• Ensures that all corporate brand guidelines are adhered to and client expectation is
achieved
• Estimates the time required to complete the project
• Creates innovative conceptual design solutions ready for presentation to the client
• Provides sufficient orientation to other designers to undertake the work, where
appropriate
• Monitors progress of other designers and ensure timely delivery of output for projects
that were split
• Coordinates with art director regarding project progress and other concerns
• Incorporates changes recommended by the clients into the final design
• Reviews design for errors, inconsistencies, and other technical specifications before art
director/client submission
Admin (5%)
• Organizes and archives work files according to SOP
• Logs time spent for the project in Tachyon
• Attends meetings and briefings with clients and teammates

Educational Qualifications/Requirements
• Graduate / University Design Degree holder
• Exceptions can be made in case the candidate had gone through a full-time
design/animation course post 12th grade/school and hence isn't a graduate / university
degree holder

Technical Qualifications/Requirements
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, After Effects and other design
software's
• Software skills, exceptional proficiency in:
o Indesign
o Illustrator
o Photoshop
o Premiere Pro
o Other CC tools
o Other MS tools, PowerPoint
