Clinical Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care: Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and performing procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges.
2. Advanced Procedures: Conduct complex dental procedures, including oral surgeries, cosmetic dentistry, and other specialized treatments as required.
3. Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Evaluate patients' dental and medical histories, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
4. Patient Education: Educate patients about oral hygiene, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
5. Emergency Care: Provide emergency dental care for acute issues like severe tooth pain, trauma, or infections.
Leadership and Management:
1. Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff.
2. Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior dentists and dental assistants, providing guidance and support in clinical practices and professional development.
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained by conducting regular audits and implementing quality assurance measures.
4. Policy and Protocol Development: Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies to standardize procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
5. Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry by attending workshops, seminars, and conferences, and ensure the team is informed of the latest best practices and technologies.
Administrative Duties:
1. Practice Management: Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice, including patient flow, and resource allocation.
2. Compliance and Safety: Maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
3. Patient Records Management: Supervise the accurate and confidential management of patient records, including treatment notes, diagnostic results, and billing information.
Patient Relations:
1. Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing reassurance during treatments.
2. Patient Satisfaction: Monitor and enhance patient satisfaction, handling feedback and implementing improvements to the patient experience.
Special Projects and Initiatives:
1. Practice Growth and Development: Contribute to the growth and development of the practice by exploring new services, technologies, and business opportunities.
2. Marketing and Branding: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the practice's services and
enhance its reputation within the community.
