About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst.
In this role, you will: Lead or participate in moderately complex programs and initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities Design and conduct moderately complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality, data integrity, process, and control gaps Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met and adhere to data governance standards and procedures Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources leveraging domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members Drive planning and coordination on moderately complex remediation efforts acting as central point of contact Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders Required Qualifications: 6+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only: Experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education About Wells Fargo India:

This is an Offshore IC role within DMI and is part of Enterprise Instrument Data Foundation. The role involves Techno-Functional activities revolving around Data Governance & Data Engineering in Banking Finance & Risk domain. Responsibilities:
The activities in this role encompass understanding business requirements, doing analysis, coordinating with Technology Team to ensure developments; doing quality validation and ensuring proper data governance and controls in place.
In above line, the responsibilities include:
Providing insights & ensuring apt reporting Ensuring adherence to Process & Working towards improvement of the same Risk Assessments & Mitigation Plan and doing escalation management Providing direction & guidance to Junior Team Members in delivery
Overall Experience & Qualifications :
6+ years of experience in Data involving one or more of the following areas in Banking - Risk/Finance/Regulatory/Consumer Banking/Commercial Banking/Investments Banking Competent qualifications: Finance MBA/B-Tech/BE/ MCA Functional Skills & Experience: Good understanding of Banking Products with 8+ Years of experience and exposures in Banking Risk & Finance Area Knowledge & Exposures in one or more of the following will be an added advantage: Credit & Market Risks, BASEL Norms, General Ledger, Funds Transfer Pricing, Asset-Liability Management, Regulatory Reporting Technical/Process Skills & Experience: Sound in Data Analysis using SQL/Hive Good experience of working in Agile Methodology Good understanding of Data-warehousing Fundamentals will be an added advantage Experience in any ETL/Reporting Tool will be a plus Good Communication & Presentation Skills Good stakeholder management experience Traits of Ownership & ability to drive deliverables with minimal guidance Result-Oriented mindset and demonstrating traits of being thoughtful & innovative Ability to inculcate and follow good Team Dynamics/Team Hygiene Posting End Date:
