What is your mission? We are seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Manager to oversee and enhance our cost accounting operations. This role involves managing daily cost accounting activities, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting on product costs, and plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, and driving process improvements to optimize financial performance and cost efficiency. The Senior Cost Accounting Manager will collaborate closely with the cost accounting team and other departments to gather critical data, ensuring accurate and comprehensive cost information throughout the organization.
You will provide the best service to our partner client by performing these tasks: Cost Tracking and Analysis Maintain accurate cost records, including tracking raw material, labor, and overhead costs.Perform regular cost analysis to identify cost trends and variances.Assist in preparing cost reports and providing insights to support the Senior Manager of Cost Accounting in decision-making.Support for Financial Planning and Budgeting Collaborate on the budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing cost inputs and cost drivers.Prepare reports and summaries to assist in monthly financial reviews and cost reporting for senior management.Data Collection and Modeling Collect and organize cost data from various sources to support ongoing analysis and reporting.Use Excel and other tools to develop and maintain cost models and reporting templates.Analyze data to identify patterns or discrepancies and make recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency.Process Improvement and Support Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline cost accounting processes and improve data accuracy.Participate in projects focused on cost allocation and expense tracking enhancements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate data is used in cost calculations.Communicate findings effectively with other departments to ensure understanding of cost-related information. Who are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; master's degree or CPA preferred.Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in cost accounting or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulae.Experience with data modeling and analysis, preferably using tools such as Power Query, Power Pivot, or similar.Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis concepts, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience with ERP systems and cost accounting software is a plus.Continuous learning mindset with a willingness to adapt to evolving business needs and technology advancements.Company Perks: Above-industry salary package and incentivesComprehensive HMO benefits and life insurance from day 1Free learning and development courses for your personal and career growthDynamic company eventsOpportunities for promotionFree meals and snacks
