Role Description: Ensure that knowledge is systematically captured, organized, and accessible within the organization. The network that the knowledge management manager works with includes a variety of key department stakeholders, including subject matter experts, internal IT, department managers, quality assurance, operations managersDeep understanding of knowledge management principles and content management tools, as well as excellent organizational and communication skillsCollaborate with key stakeholders to capture and document key processes, solutions, and knowledgeCreate a standardized style guide and format for documentation to ensure consistency and clarity. Define knowledge management structure, policy, and procedures.Develop organization and categorization methods of policies and proceduresImplement taxonomy and metadata strategies to enhance the searchability and usability of knowledge assetsAdminister and manage knowledge management tools and platforms, ensuring they are functioning optimally and meeting user needsAnalyze user feedback and usage data to continuously improve knowledge management practices and toolsDevelop and monitor metrics for assessing the effectiveness of the knowledge management programEducation and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Knowledge Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or a related field3+ years experience in technical knowledge management or related roleStrong experience with content management systems (e.g. Confluence, SharePoint) and document management toolsFamiliarity with technical documentation standards and best practicesExcellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications: Certification in knowledge management (e.g. Certified Knowledge Manager - CKM)
