About the Job: Join our client's team as a Senior Certifications Executive! In this role, you'll ensure compliance with Organic Certification standards, produce reports, analyze data, and collaborate on the evaluation and approval processes for organic certification.
Scope & Responsibilities: Review certification applications, inspection reports and supporting documentation and determine compliance status for processing.Support the development and maintenance of certification forms and documents including information materials to aid with NOP compliance and Fair-trade compliance.Successfully lead the certification audits for Organic and Fair trade and maintain such certification on an annual basis.Implement certification policies and procedures.Conduct inspections of operations requesting certification, as needed and collaborate with other departments to ensure success in certification.Track all outstanding non conformances and work to resolve them.Communicate with field inspectors/officers on the appropriate workload and scheduling inspections.Create plans and propose strategies in the field operations for farm expansions.Build a strong and harmonious relationships with accredited farmers.Work with field inspectors/officers to help coconut farmers get through the certification process smoothly and identify areas of need.Coordinate and collaborate with related government agencies or instrumentalities such as the Department of Agriculture and Philippines Coconut Authority to ensure continued expansions and maintenance of farmer accreditations.Organize and assist groups of coconut farmers in complying with requirements to secure juridical personality as farmer cooperatives.Ensure that accredited farmer cooperatives are trained and well informed of the benefits of organic farming and as Fair Trade CertifiedPerform financial traceability from the farm level.Create programs for the farmers to maintain good will and farmer engagement with the company.Lead technology-based initiatives / projects for traceability (such as Light Bulb, Parikrama app)Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
in Agriculture, Biology, Food Science or any relevant business coursesKnowledge of
organic and sustainable agriculture; Knowledge of organic and sustainable
farmingFamiliarity with
regulatory compliance; Knowledge of EU NOP organic standards and regulations.Knowledge of
Fair-Trade Standard / requirements;Familiarity with
certification procedures; Knowledge of food science/food processing.With effective
