About this role A Senior Auditor will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:
Delegate responsibilities to junior and staff auditorsReview team members' work for accuracy and compliancePerform effective risk and control assessmentsPlan, develop strategies and supervise fieldwork team in all phases of audit and review engagementsPrepare financial statements and required disclosures in compliance with policy and regulationsWork closely with staff and partners on client managementPerform audits of clients for compliance with Uniform Guidance/Circular A-133Monitor engagement status and budget requirements for profitable and timely completionResearch technical issues that arise during an engagementDevelop relationships with accounting staff, CFOs, and ControllersTrain and manage engagement teams (up to three members) with various levels of experienceCarry out audits of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and GAS standardsPerform and/or supervise substantive audit procedures over all income statement and balance sheet accountsFrequently perform analytical procedures to identify unusual or unexpected trends in relation to expectation and performanceConduct internal control test work and perform walkthroughsReport issues immediately to the engagement team and collaborate to resolve themAbout you At least 3-5 years of audit experience in public accounting firms (Big 4)Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalPossess excellent communication and client service skillsWhat you need to know Salary and other benefits:
