Requirements:Completed CPA designation or equivalent.Minimum 5 years public accounting experience.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.Proficiency with Caseware, Caseview, and Taxprep software.Planning and organizing audits so jobs are completed in a timely manner.Keeping track of workflow and workload to ensure internal and external deadlines are met.Preparation of financial statements.Preparation of corporate and NPO tax returns.Experience in preparation of compilation, review, and audit engagements within a team or individually.Thorough knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNFPO), and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS).Experience in drafting financial statements including related note disclosures.Performance of financial and qualitative analysis for special projects.Knowledge of fund accounting.Knowledge of the Condominium Act and experience in accounting for condominiums would be an asset.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or any similar; Master's degree is preferred.2-3+ years experience as a Senior Auditor in public accounting external audit experience.US experience preferred.Had at least 3+ busy seasons performing audits.Knowledge and exposure to GAAP.Prefers someone from a Big 4 firm.Strong analytical skills and strong English communication (not soft-spoken) and highly dedicated.Positive attitude, team player, eagerness to learn.CPA or eligible to take the CPA exam (5th year graduate).What you need to know:Enjoy the following perks and benefits:
