Position: Senior Architect
Job Overview:
A Senior Architect plays a crucial role in overseeing the design, planning and implementation of architectural projects, leading teams of architects and designers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and advise scrum teams, prioritize their work, providing mentorship and guidance on technical decision, ensuring alignment of teams to strategic goalsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and collaborate effectively with other professionals.Directing and Overseeing construction projects and ensuring all are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans.Defines and addresses risks/problems/issues quickly and effectivelyWorks with developers to make sure that all data solutions are consistent with the aligned architectureManaging project budgets and timelinesCollaborating with clients to understand their needs and requirementsDeveloping architectural plans and blueprintsEnsuring compliance with building codes and regulationsConducting site visits and inspectionsOverseeing the construction process to ensure quality and adherence to designCommunicating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholdersPresenting design proposals to clientsUtilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software effectivelyEnsuring project deliverables meet client expectationsDeveloping conceptual designs and presentationsReviewing and approving design documentationResolving design issues and conflicts Required Skills and Qualifications: Professional architectural license with at least 1 year work related experienceMale or FemaleProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural softwareStrong understanding of building codes and regulationsCreative design thinking and innovative approachTime management skills to meet project deadlines
