Be a part of the EDC Team!The Senior Analyst/Analyst will help EDC achieve its growth ambitions by contributing to the end-to-end process of adding operating megawatts (MWs) to the company through inorganic means such as the exploration and execution of mergers and acquisitions of operating, brownfield, and greenfield assets not owned by EDC.
The analyst will also contribute to, or lead as necessary, initiatives related to EDC's growth ambitions via assessment of key growth markets for electricity, geothermal heating, mineral extraction, or other segments of interest in the industry, and contribute to the planning of activities for EDC's growth markets in these said segments.
The analyst will also contribute to building EDC's growth pipeline through collection and organization of information and industry networking as necessary.
The analyst will also contribute to screening of growth opportunities through assisting project development/due diligence teams primarily by financial modeling, valuation, and commercial assessment. He/she will create presentations or reports to stakeholders as needed and ensure that findings and recommendations are properly captured.
Ensures that the planned group activities are coordinated and aligned with the ongoing EDC growth team initiatives and that the annual budget is prepared in accordance with EDC's budgeting cycle. The analyst is also expected to forecast and keep track of deviations in budget vs actuals and will coordinate necessary action to ensure activities are properly funded.
