Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

This position will be responsible for assisting in business forecasting, budgeting and performance monitoring, by providing analysis & insight into decision-making in operational, financial and strategic matters. KEY AREAS of RESPONSIBILITY for the ROLE: Manage a suite of financial reports for weekly, monthly, quarterly distribution to senior leadership highlighting business trends and opportunities.Budgeting, forecasting and performing analysis of variances and drivers of operational results by effectively partnering with our Regional FP&A teams and various stakeholders.Build, update and maintain financial models including performance indicator dashboards to measure and forecast impact of operational initiatives.Review and monitor Corporate overhead costs, and work closely with Department Heads.Collect, analyze and manage large date sets of data from system applications and assist in the development of meaningful reports.Assist with the preparation of disclosures and reports, related to quarterly and annual filings, submitted to the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) including supporting documentation.Assists with financial results and analysis for presentations to CFO on a periodic basis as requested by manager.Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts.Manage the FP&A system application including administration, maintenance, and improvements.Provide analysis and answers to audit inquiries from external auditors.Key contributor to ad-hoc finance projects by leveraging finance acumen and skills.REQUIRED SKILLS and COMPETENCIES: Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Business or similar) from an accredited institutionAt least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance positionsStrong knowledge of accounting and business acumenAnalytical and keen on detailsProficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Advance user of Excel)Organizational skills that reflect ability to work independentlyStrong collaboration and partnering skills; Fully fluent in English (written and verbal)Works with a sense of urgency and unwavering focus on accuracyCertified Public Accountant LicenseExperience with Power BI, Planful, SAP financials and related modules.
