Job Description· Preparation of fortnight PH payroll for third party payroll processing; processing any payroll adjustments, performing payroll reconciliations and ensuring that the payroll is done accurately and in a timely manner.
· New payroll account creation and employee data review.
· Ensuring the weekly funds request are done correctly and on a timely manner to FC.
· Processing payroll clearing in PH books, ensuring the amount, GL and costs centre are done correctly.
· Completing the withholding compensation return, Phil Health, SSS, etc.
· Performing annual asset inspection and count.
· Ensuring the submission of annual report for 13 months pay with DOLE.
· Performing the cash advances and weekly reconciliation.
· Performing the month end journals and analysis.
· Monitoring daily finance queries from other departments.
· Supporting the finance team in other finance projects.
Requirements· Strong understanding of both Philippine Financial Reporting standards and IFRS (Australian Financial Reporting standard).
· Strong understanding of Philippine compliance including but not limited to VAT, Withholding Tax, PEZA etc.
· Strong understanding of Philippine payroll including adding and removing staff, payment of taxes etc.
· Strong understanding of month end accounting processes including accruals, PNL, Balance Sheet and Cashflow management.
· Strong understanding of AP and AR functions.
· Knowledge of Philippine payroll is required.
· Knowledge of Philippine compliance is required.
· Knowledge of XERO is required.
