Job Overview As an SEM Export Operations (Asst. Mgr/Mgr), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the export processes within our company. Your primary goal will be to ensure efficient and compliant operations, fostering timely and secure transportation of goods to international destinations. You will play a critical role in coordinating with various departments, managing logistics staff, and interfacing with external stakeholders to meet export objectives.
Your Responsibilities: Manage daily monitoring and updating of export shipments. Coordinate/update LSP for shipment schedule. Check/verify data input completeness in CELLO and GERP. Secure/follow-up POD report/documents from service provider. Resolve problems related to delivery, receiving, customs, and other transit-related issues. Prepare reports required by client and Company related to exportation process. Coordinate with counterparts for route development to lessen L-cost. Assist in setting up of rates not included in the global bidding. Support in processing export bookings and documentation if needed. Manage and report all irregularities on time. Create and establish new procedures that would help to enhance export operation. Track/monitor cargo movements and ensure its on-time arrival at destination port. Analyze weekly and monthly KPI results. Prepare export monthly volume report. Prepare month-end export flight plan. Overall supervision and control of export operations. What our Client is Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in export operations or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Extensive experience with and understanding of international trade regulations, customs regulations, and the necessary documentation for exporting goods across various countries. Demonstrated experience in handling all phases of the export process, including procurement, logistics, compliance, and customer service. Ability to analyze and improve operational processes, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for dealing with diverse internal teams and external partners including vendors, customers, and regulatory bodies. Strong capability to troubleshoot and solve complex logistical and compliance issues as they arise. Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving operational goals.
