Patrol
Regularly inspect and patrol the premises they are assigned to protect. This may include walking regular patrols and reporting any suspicious or unusual incidents.
Monitor
Use surveillance equipment, such as cameras and monitors, to observe and monitor their surroundings for potential security threats. This may include monitoring property entrances and securing all exits, doors, and windows.
Respond
Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that may occur, such as medical emergencies or criminal activity. This may include responding to alarms in a timely manner.
Report
Report any suspicious behaviors or happenings, and submit reports of daily surveillance activity and every suspicious action.
Assist
Provide assistance to people in need. This may include helping people who need medical attention within their place of work.
Communicate
Communicate effectively with those who need to know what's going on to prevent miscommunication.
Know the law
Be law-abiding and execute duties in the most legitimate manner possible. This may include knowing the legal limits of your power and duties to help avoid liability.
