We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Inspector to join our team. The Security Inspector will oversee security personnel, ensure compliance with security policies, and conduct inspections to maintain high standards of security at client locations. This role plays a crucial part in providing safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections of security personnel to ensure proper conduct, uniform compliance, and adherence to security protocols.
2. Supervise and assess the performance of security staff, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
3. Review incident reports and conduct investigations as necessary.
4. Ensure that security equipment (e.g., CCTV, alarms, access control systems) is functional and properly maintained.
5. Monitor client sites to assess vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements.
6. Liaise with clients to address security concerns and ensure service satisfaction.
7. Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services in case of incidents.
8. Conduct training sessions for security personnel on updated procedures, safety regulations, and best practices.
9. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and the security agency's policies.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Security Inspector or in a similar supervisory role in the security industry.
2. Must possess a valid Security Officer license (required).
3. Strong understanding of security operations, risk management, and emergency protocols.
4. Knowledge of local security regulations and legal requirements.
5. Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
7. Ability to work in high-pressure situations and handle emergencies calmly.
8. Proficiency in report writing and security incident documentation.
Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field is a plus.
2. At least 3 years of experience in the security industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
3. Must have a VALID SECURITY OFFICER LICENSE as required by local laws and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
1. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
2. Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
3. Must pass background and drug screening.
