As a Security Content Researcher, you will be responsible for providing monthly Threat Reports (typically based on specific industries like Education or healthcare or for a specific or prospective client's organization). Putting together these threat reports requires working with multiple Trustwave and SpiderLabs teams for pulling together raw data and the ability to put that data into a comprehensive narrative. You will also be responsible for additional research from OSINT sources to supplement the research returned by other teams. Secondarily, you will provide editorial support for blog posts provided by SpiderLabs researchers.
The role is open to remote (Philippines based).
Responsibilities:
Edit technical content for monthly trend and threat reports Provide editorial support for blog posts covering a variety of information security disciplines Help inexperienced writers flesh out their content Generate content for certain current topics and trends Coordinate content between teams Work with PR, Marketing and Web teams to help coordinate media outreach and social networking endeavors Requirements:
Well-rounded background in information security Excellent writing skills, proofing and editing skills Understand and distill content in a way that it can be communicated with non-technical teams and media Familiarity with Responsible Disclosure programs Experience talking to media outlets (online, print, streaming, etc.) Education:
