You will be part of our Sea Logistics team, adding your leadership expertise and skills to the delivery of growth and customer base.
Your RoleYou will focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation of customers through high levels of service quality and close collaboration with our Customer Care Locations (CCL). You will steer and leverage the capabilities of your direct team, sales channels, and our network.
You will set margins for pricing requests across all trades, taking a variety of elements into consideration (market levels, industry specifics, customer requirements, and price sensitivities) while trading off against procurement levels and internal policies to maintain a profitable gross yield.
Your ResponsibilitiesTo develop strategies and plans for assigned trade lane to generate revenue and increase client base.To conduct market research on various business opportunities and create proposals, ensuring correct pricing and solutions are available.To maintain and strengthen carrier relationships on operational levels, supporting sea logistics procurement and carrier relation management.To execute pricing strategies by liaising on pricing and request for quotation (RFQ) preparation.To actively exchange information and knowledge with your team and other stakeholders to gain new, retain, and further develop existing accounts.To provide timely responses to rate requests, finding mutual solutions for profit maximization.To set selling prices within given bandwidth as per local conditions and pricing policy.To direct the organization to book shipments based on carrier agreements or lowest price, ensuring full transparency.To coordinate and assist business owners for non-standard RFQ related requests.To ensure that databases are maintained with up-to-date pricing information and drive continuous improvements through feedback.To lead and drive the development of new business, while growing existing accounts to their full potential.To own, monitor, and drive all sales activities of customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified, and nurtured through the sales pipeline to close profitable and sustainable customer deals.To provide support during sales calls and create customer-specific value propositions.To provide up-to-date market and pricing information to stakeholders, setting pricing bands in line with local conditions and yield targets.Your Skills and ExperiencesTechnical Skills:
