Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team and help guide our agile development process. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, ensuring the team follows agile principles, and helping the team remove obstacles. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and leadership skills.



Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.

Ensure the team follows agile principles and practices.

Assist the product owner with maintaining the product backlog.

Remove impediments and obstacles to ensure the team can focus on their work.

Coach and mentor team members on agile methodologies and best practices.

Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve the effectiveness of agile processes across the organization.

Track and communicate team progress and metrics.

Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Assist with the coordination of release planning and other project-related activities.

Continuously seek to improve team productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.

Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.

Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
