The SAP FI Consultant is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, implementation and support of the SAP FI areas to meet the business requirements. The FI consultant should be familiar with the integration of SAP FI with other modules.
Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP ECC6 FI solutionsShould have sound knowledge of master data and configuration of GL( including new GL), AP, AR, Asset accounting, Bank accounting and Cash ManagementUnderstand dependency between FI and CO and other logistics modules.Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this areaConduct and participate in user requirements gathering, blueprinting or mapping client business requirements and processes and documentation of the agreed designProvide functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instructions on SAP functionalities to clients.Ensure compliance to reporting standards and processesPrepare detailed test plans and test scripts for various scenarios based on agreed business processesConduct User Acceptance Testing with the clientConduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practicesFamiliar with the processes and strategies that make up the data migration activitiesWork with SAP to resolve software bugs.Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes.Develop functional specifications and work with BASIS and ABAP resources to complete development and testing of client customized requirementsMay lead and coordinate the work of a small teamUnderstand and apply the group company's methodologies and proceduresActs as liaison with client and SAP for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems/ software bugsMap client business requirements, processes and objectives
