SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant
Job Summary
As an SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant, you will work as part of a team of experts to develop detailed blueprints, configure solutions, and provide functional support for the SAP EWM module.
This role focuses on enabling businesses to optimize their warehouse management processes, either as standalone solutions or integrated within SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver business and functional support for the SAP EWM module, including potential migration from legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4HANA.
- Analyze and address gaps in current business processes and system configurations compared to SAP S/4HANA, and provide recommendations for delta designs.
- Develop functional and technical specifications to address delta requirements and ensure smooth EWM implementation.
- Execute system configuration to enable the SAP EWM module effectively.
- Lead testing and defect resolution for SAP EWM implementations.
- Facilitate client workshops and training sessions, which may involve international travel.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a functional consultant in SAP EWM.
- Strong understanding of dependencies and integrations between SAP EWM and other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, etc.).
- Proficiency in embedded or decentralized EWM is required.
- Experience with advanced EWM functionalities, such as Material Flow System, Wave Management, Yard Management, Labor Management, Value-Added Services, Warehouse Billing, Kitting, and integration with Transportation Management, is an advantage.
- Prior experience in end-to-end project implementation is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for workshops and client training sessions.
