Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Approve and coordinate the activities for the design, configuration and maintenance of all
SAP components in the SAP systems landscape including ERP, NetWeaver (Enterprise
Portal, Business Intelligence (BW and IP), PI, Content Server, TREX Search Engine),
NetWeaver Gateway, E-Recruitment, Solution Manager and any other components.
2. Monitor deliverables to meet overall project timelines and quality standards.
3. Coordinate implementation of SAP technical releases in conjunction with PRISM Functional
Team, Development Team and business stakeholders.
4. Supervise the technical team to manage and execute system installations, upgrades,
operating system patches, coordination in patch/hotpack/support pack/enhancement
package implementation, clientcopy/database refresh planning, and assistance in archiving.
5. Coordinate with the Network and Systems unit for establishment of benchmarks for the
network connectivity components for optimal end-user response times for the SAP solution
encompassing all above components.
6. Oversee PRISM user account management incorporating systems security and maintenance
of roles and authorization matrix as per business specifications especially in the Production
environment.
7. Manage and provide oversight of the execution of the complete SAP technical
administration including centralised monitoring; alert configuration and response: transport
management, performance monitoring and tuning; and foster the proactive administration.
8. Manage and/or contribute actively on assigned PRISM new functional/technical
implementation project.
9. Assess, plan and provide recommendation and execute the implementation of new
technology solution related to PRISM system deemed fit for the organization purpose.
10. As part of business continuity initiative mandated by the organization, take overall
responsibility of PRISM disaster recovery solution.
11. Maintain required project documentation including systems and technical manuals .
12. Coordinate and provide inputs with regards to SAP Data Archiving and Data Migration.
13. Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
• An advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Computer science, Information technology
or any related field from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant work
experience; or
• A University degree in the above fields with minimum of six years of relevant professional
work experience.
• Professional certification in SAP is a distinct advantage.
• Certification in Agile Project Management and Design Thinking is a distinct advantage.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of ten years professional experience in the Information Technology field and with
more than eight years in SAP systems management and user security administration
• Advanced knowledge in BASIS administration of ABAP and Java stacks of various SAP
modules including ERP, NetWeaver (Enterprise Portal, Business Intelligence (BW and IP), PI,
Content Server, TREX Search Engine), NetWeaver Gateway, E-Recruitment, Solution
Manager.
• Advanced knowledge and excellent experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations and
production support roles in complex SAP landscapes.
• Extensive experience in managing and supporting multiple landscapes with experience in
provisioning SAP applications, kernel patches, OSS notes, performing SAP System upgrades,
EHP upgrades, support packs, 3 system and client copies, system refreshes, backups and
restores, security configurations and connectivity.
• Advanced knowledge in Roles and Authorizations and User Account Management.
• Advanced knowledge in administration of Oracle Database; knowledge in SAP HANA DB an
advantage.
• Knowledge in SAP Data Archiving and Data Migration.
• Advance knowledge in SAP Fiori system administration.
• Experience with design documentation, creation of mock-ups, requirements gathering and
client interaction.Knowledge of SAP functional or ABAP.
SKILLS
• Strong Oracle Database Administration skills with focus on performance tuning including a
thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into
application/operational requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and
harmoniously with a diverse group, from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.
• Excellent oral/written communications, analytical, organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal
skills / Ability to effectively articulate and communicate the pros and cons of creating a SAP solution
to solve a specific business need;
• Strong personal ownership and ability to set and meet high professional standards, flexible and
responsive work style with minimum supervision.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, design, and most critically, attention to performance, scala
