Sanitary Design Section Head (Probationary)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• To Lead and Manage the Sanitary Design section of the MEP team.
• To ensure that the Sanitary Systems (Plumbing and Drainage) design of all assigned projects are fully coordinated, spatially and technically, with all other related trades and compliant with applicable project codes.
• To ensure that the Concept Design as agreed with the Technical Director is implemented. Any deviation from the agree direction must be coordinated with the MEP Manager and Technical Director and documented in the project.
• You will be assigned as Project team leader for projects selected by the MEP Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Sanitary Engineering graduate; Preferably a licensed Sanitary Engineer or equivalent;
• With at least 10 years progressive work experience, in Design / Consulting Firm.
• With well-developed working knowledge of MEPF Services and Systems design
• With working knowledge of various international and local Plumbing and Building Codes and Standards.
• Experience in Industrial and Infrastructure projects is must;
• Must be proficient in English and ideally in Filipino communication;
• Must be computer literate
• Must have developed working knowledge of the use and application of various design software for calculation purposes such as Water Gems, Sewer Gems, Pipeflow and Epanet including surge calculation and analysis report.
• Working knowledge on packages with particular knowledge of environmental / sustainable design methods
