To support the Commercial Team regarding the following commercial activities:
? Preparation of customer quotations, monthly/quarterly price updates, tenders, etc.
? Liaising between Sales & Product management regarding Obtaining supported cost prices;
Rebates; Receiving approval to offer sales prices below normal parameters; Sourcing products;
etc.
? Preparation of standard supply contracts/agreements (with the required clauses included, such
as take-or-pay, price volatility, etc).
? Reactive and proactive Price & Margin Management (P&MM). (Note: SMs are ultimately
responsible and accountable for P&MM, but CAs can drive and manage the process and related
analysis)
? Preparation of sales campaigns, cross and range-selling campaigns, etc., and monitoring of
performance
? Work with Product Management to drive the sale of slow-moving / high priced stock.
? Deep dive into negative and low-margin sales.
? Monitor performance against Top Line Profit Levers (TLPLs) and other commercial initiatives.
? Until dashboards are available, create analysis and reports on AM / Team activity and
performance (against KPIs & targets) and support the creation of standardized monthly reports /
ppts.
? Monitor the completion of agreed commercial actions against timelines.
? Act as a link between AMs and other departments, to ensure customer requirements are met.
(Note: CSRs have a key responsibility here. CAs should support only when necessary).
? Support forecasting (sales volumes) and allocation of products that are short in supply.
? Supporting AM(E)s when there are urgent commercial requirements from customers, which AMs
cannot deal with because they are out on the road (e.g.: urgent product requests or quotations
that need immediate attention and close follow-up).
? When required, support pushing through new Products / new Customers / Vendors and Salesperson
creation and modification
? Job 7: Follow-up with functional departments for the completion and monitoring of customer
corrective action reports
? Assists in the preparation of sample requests and other relevant documents for customers
? Ensures maintenance of key communication and technical documents by supplier in SharePoint in
liaison with QSHE
? Attends and follows up on key action items during Commercial meetings
? Maintains and liaises with customer service and direct trade procurement team on customer and
supplier PO monitoring
? Assists the Commercial team in flagging slow-moving/ageing products for immediate disposition
? Supports the Commercial team in generating market intelligence reports
? Assists the Commercial team in validating/confirming the supply plan given the latest demand
plan & PO monitoring
