Job SummaryThe Sales Support Representative plays a critical role in providing administrative support to the sales team. This position involves managing CRM data, tracking leads, handling customer inquiries, preparing project quotes, processing sales orders, and ensuring smooth operations within the sales process.
Key Communication PartnersBD Sales Representative: For quoting and streamlining new project planning.
Project Coordinator: For assigning available resources to projects.
Customers: For managing inquiries and providing support.
Accounts Receivable Team: For addressing invoicing and sales order-related questions.
COO: For obtaining necessary approvals.
Primary Responsibilities1. Customer and Lead Management Enter new leads and customers into the CRM system.
Track and follow up on open leads and quotes with sales representatives.
2. Project and Quote Management Create and enter new projects for quoting purposes.
Generate and send quotes to customers based on project specifications.
Update ongoing project values as necessary.
3. Sales Order Processing Create and send sales orders to customers.
Coordinate with project coordinators to assign resources to new projects.
4. General Sales Support Schedule and conduct follow-up meetings with sales representatives regarding open leads and quotes.
Maintain accurate records of projects and sales transactions to ensure smooth sales operations.
