Job Summary: Join our dynamic team in the IT industry as a Sales Operations Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimizing sales operations strategies to enhance efficiency and drive revenue growth. This hybrid position, operating on the early shift, presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within our Australian-based company. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support: Collaborate closely with sales managers and senior leadership to develop sales support plans. Monitor sales team activities, optimize support resources for maximum productivity. Adjust support resources based on evolving priorities and unforeseen circumstances. Assist in forecasting sales needs, planning capacity, and implementing talent acquisition strategies. Generate reports and track KPIs related to sales support. Order Processing: Oversee the processing of sales orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies. Provide guidance and assistance to sales representatives on order processing procedures. Generate reports and analysis on order fulfilment, backlog, and order accuracy. Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for order processing. Billing and Invoicing: Generate and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements. Liaise with sales teams and finance department to resolve billing discrepancies. Monitor invoice aging and follow up on outstanding invoices for timely payment. Address billing inquiries and disputes, maintaining accurate billing records. Reporting and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to gather sales data and insights for forecasting. Provide regular updates, progress reports, and status summaries to stakeholders. Facilitate communication between sales teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional departments. Quality Assurance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with sales standards, processes, and best practices. Review sales documentation for accuracy and completeness. Maintain sales records, performance metrics, and post-sales reports. Qualifications: Proven experience in sales operations, sales support, or related roles within the IT industry. Strong understanding of sales processes and operations methodologies. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Proficiency in CRM or similar systems such as Salesforce and ServiceNow. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is a plus.
