Sales Manager responsible for managing the sales efforts of pharmaceutical companies.
They work with a team of medical sales representatives and clinical trainor's to develop and
implement strategies that help our company sell our products to doctors, hospitals,
pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
Sales Manager must be able to effectively manage large teams of people while also being
detail-oriented enough to understand the intricacies of pharmaceuticals and how they're used
in the medical field.
Sales Manager work in a variety of settings, including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and
clinics and reports to office, work full time and may occasionally work overtime to meet deadlines or
quotas. May have to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend conferences.

? Monitoring competitor activities in the industry by reading industry publications and

? Monitor Daily Activities of medical sales representative and making spot checking
time to time to audit attendance, job performance and territory knowledge of the
medical sales representative.
? Weekly checking of Daily Coverage Report (DCR) of medical sales representative
? Weekly meeting with medical sales representative to discuss pending deliveries and
outstanding accounts under that representative territory.
? Weekly meeting with clinical trainor's to review outcome of training done in the
clinics and discuss outcome/potential sales from demonstrations done along with
medical sales representative.
? Responsible in following up for sales outcome of demonstrations with medical sales
representative.
? Heading monthly meeting for sales review and following month planned coverage
with medical sales representative.
? Responsible for the first step in approving demonstrations and new closed sales of
medical sales representatives.
? Create and deliver engaging sales presentations to prospective clients
? Assist or help negotiate contracts and close deals with medical sales representative
? Prepare reports for upper management detailing sales results and pipeline activity
? Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
? Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
? Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team
? Responsible in checking authenticity of new client in terms of purchasing capability
prior approval for orders and deliveries. That customer profiling is properly done.
? Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
? Manage expenses within budget
? Implement and regularly remind medical sales representative of all company policies
and procedures
? Responsible in issuing memorandums to medical sales representative in case of any
company violations and then reporting to Human Resources and Management.
? Will be responsible for territories without medical sales representative (promote, sell
and cover doctors, hospitals, clinic owners and purchasing department)
