We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the office fit-out construction sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the fit-out and construction industry, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Executives.
Set clear goals and performance targets, and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure team success.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Client Acquisition: Oversee the identification and targeting of new business opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive new contracts and projects.
Sales Process Management: Streamline and optimize the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
Ensure that proposals, presentations, and negotiations are conducted effectively and professionally.
Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market conditions.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including project management, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Customer Service: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Develop strategies to enhance the overall client experience.
Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize return on investment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of sales experience in the office fit-out or construction industry, with at least (Y) years in a sales management role.
Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving targets.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and manage complex sales processes.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of office fit-out and construction processes, industry trends, and market dynamics.
Familiarity with project management principles is advantageous.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Experience with sales analytics tools is beneficial.
