Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role: As a Sales Manager, you will be fully dedicated to overseeing and driving the growth of the surgical division. This means you will focus on developing and executing sales strategies tailored to this specific area, managing relationships with key clients, and working closely with the sales team to ensure that the division meets and exceeds its targets.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sales and Account Management Proactive development of sales plans and strategies for surgical business in Philippines Spearhead and promote the company Cataract Workflow Promote effective sales strategies not limiting to combined deal to promote IOLs revenue Support and coach sales team with bundling tools and complex sales cycle Ensure growth of market share for Surgical Devices Conduct business reviews with ibase and grow share of wallet for consumables through account development plans for existing install base ? Development of financial and ROI plans for business proposals Manage the surgical team members to achieve and exceed sales and financial targets for Surgical business Key account management, engaging key stakeholders in these key customer accounts to drive SOW leadership Build strong people pipeline and develop a high performing team Conform to and abide by all compliance regulations and ensure high ethical standards are maintained Marketing Plan, initiate and implement marketing strategies for surgical devices Product positioning and competitive pricing analysis and competition Engage in B2B marketing activities in collaboration with Regional Team Develop and engage with Key Opinion Leaders within the Surgical Business segment Plan, coordinate and implement marketing activities such as product launches, round table discussions as well as workshops to further grow the surgical business in Philippines. Market and Competitor Analysis and Growth Provide market and competitor analysis for Philippine market Accountability for the growth of IOLs and Surgical Devices in various segment Provide all appropriate reporting to the Business Managers including but not limited to clinic performance, feedback, and competitor movements from customers on a weekly and monthly report Liaise with RA for new product registration vs launching timeline Operations & Inventory Management Inventory Management (Ensuring demand and forecast for IOL/OVDs are in stipulated inventory targets) Improvement of sales process by adapting to right sales tools Demo planning and management of demo stock Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, or a related field A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role. Highly advantageous: Experience in handling ophthalmology and optometry surgical products. Experience with medical devices would also be accepted. Highly advantageous: With network selling to hospitals or eye clinics. Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, negotiate, and build relationships with clients and team members. A strong focus on client satisfaction, with a proven track record of maintaining and growing client relationships. Tech savvy; Experience with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and other technology platforms that support sales activities highly advantageous. Job type: Permanent
