SALES MANAGERFull Job DescriptionSales managers are responsible for leading sales teams to reach sales targets. Sales managers are oftentimesexpected to travel.We are looking for someone who establishes and implements plans to grow the business in the assigned area/s. Toattain this, the successful candidate shall-? Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.? Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expensecontrol.? Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure itsstrong presence.? Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitionstatus.? Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understandingtheir needs.? Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills by setting objectives, coaching andperformance monitoring.? Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.? Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.? Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationship.? Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements.? Locates and proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.? Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financial.? Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.? Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with companystrategies and operations.? Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.? Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.? Overseeing the development of marketing literature.Needed Skills? Excellent Management, Leadership and Team player Skills.? No issue with domestic and regional travelling.? Good communications skills? Handles "pressure situations" with a professional demeanor? Preferably a graduate of Civil or Mechanical Engineering. With experience in selling engineering products? With at least 5 years' experience of selling engineering products (steel fabricated products / metalfabrication), is a plus.? With good technical understanding of engineering technical drawings and metal fabrication.? Experience in Sales/Marketing in the steel industry a big advantage.?
