Overview:
As a sales manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales process to drive revenue growth. This role combines sales management with an understanding of accounting principles and practices to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients. This role will collaborate with the Managing Directors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in both sales and professional services / accounting.
Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify potential clients and industries that would benefit from our services. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Develop customized sales pitches and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients. Account Management: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with the accounting team to deliver solutions that meet client needs. Monitor client accounts and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes. Analyze market data to identify new opportunities for growth. Adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed to respond to market dynamics. Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance metrics and generate regular reports for management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement action plans to address performance gaps. Work with the AP Team to ensure systems and processes are updated Requirements Preferred - Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field. Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the accounting or professional services industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales targets. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software: Hubspot, Pipedrive and Microsoft Office Suite.
