Job Description We are in need of a skillful and highly experienced Sales Lead Researcher who will be responsible for identifying new project opportunities via lead portals, industry news, and other sources. You will also identify new contacts and their contact details (email address and mobile phone number) within relevant organisations and add them to the CRM.
Other responsibilities & duties: Data Gathering - Collecting and organising comprehensive data on potential project leads and contacts, including contact information, company details, industry insights, and key decision-makers within the target organizations. Data Recording - Recording leads, companies, and contacts on the CRM and handing these through to the sales and business development teams. Data Cleansing – Ensuring contacts and accounts on the CRM are cleansed and contain the correct contact details through cross-referencing contacts with social media platforms, updating email bounce-backs, and making updates from any other source of information. Lead Qualification - Evaluating and assessing the quality of leads based on predetermined criteria, ensuring that only viable prospects are passed on to the sales team for further engagement. Qualifications Strong proficiency in using online research tools, CRM systems, and data analysis tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented. Familiarity with sales and marketing processes, preferably in a B2B environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent planning & prioritising skills to ensure that follow-up deadlines are met even in busy periods. A thorough knowledge of the business's products and services. High level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Experience in lead research, market analysis, or a related role within a sales or business development context. Experience of working within a CRM, with preferable experience in Microsoft Dynamics.
