Sales Development Representative

Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
· Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and expectations.
· Develop customized event proposals, including menu options, beverage selections, and pricing details.
· Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup, décor, entertainment, and audiovisual requirements.
· Ensure seamless coordination between the restaurant's culinary team, serving staff, and external vendors.
Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, potential clients, and industry contacts through regular communication and follow-up.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, providing attentive service and personalized assistance.
· Anticipate client needs and preferences, offering creative solutions and recommendations to enhance their event experience.
· Address client feedback and concerns promptly, striving to exceed expectations and enhance customer loyalty.
Menu Planning and Execution:
· Collaborate with the restaurant's executive chef and culinary team to design bespoke menus tailored to each event.
· Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on menu selection, dietary restrictions, and wine pairings.
· Ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet the restaurant's standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Budget Management:
· Develop and manage event budgets in collaboration with clients and restaurant management.
· Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or service.
· Track expenses and revenues associated with each event to ensure profitability and financial accountability.
Event Promotion and Marketing:· Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote private dining and special events.
· Coordinate with the restaurant's marketing team to create promotional materials, such as brochures, menus, and online listings.
· Utilize social media platforms and online channels to increase awareness and generate interest in upcoming events.
Event Execution and On-Site Management:
· Oversee the smooth execution of events, ensuring that all details are attended to and that service standards are upheld.
· Provide on-site supervision and support to event staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel.
· Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, always maintaining composure and professionalism.
Inbound Inquiry Management:
· Receive and respond to inbound inquiries from potential clients interested in hosting events.
· Gather detailed information about client requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
· Provide timely and personalized responses to inquiries, addressing client questions and concerns effectively.
Outbound Sales Calls:
· Conduct outbound sales calls to targeted clients to promote event services and generate new business opportunities.
· Identify and qualify potential leads through proactive outreach efforts.
· Showcase the unique value propositions and culinary offerings of the company to prospective clients.
Proposal Development:
· Collaborate with clients to create customized event proposals tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
· Prepare detailed proposals outlining event logistics, food and beverage selections, pricing, and terms of service.
· Present proposals to clients in a professional manner, highlighting the company's capabilities and expertise in delivering memorable culinary experiences.
Lead Generation:
· Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion by prospecting new clients and market segments.
· Develop strategic initiatives to attract and engage target clients, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
· Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute lead generation campaigns and initiatives.
B2B Transaction Management:
· Facilitate business-to-business transactions by negotiating contracts, agreements, and terms with clients.
· Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and legal requirements during contract negotiations.
· Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as catering teams and venue partners, to coordinate event logistics and deliver exceptional service.
Culinary Expertise:
· Utilize your background in food and beverage to discuss the company's menu offerings, specialties, and culinary expertise with clients.
· Provide recommendations and guidance to clients regarding menu selection, dietary restrictions, and beverage pairings.
· Showcase the company's culinary prowess and commitment to quality through engaging discussions and tastings.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field.
· Proven experience in event coordination, sales, or hospitality, with a focus on food and beverage services.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office suite.
· Knowledge of culinary trends, cuisines, and food presentation techniques.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for event coverage.
