A Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by managing daily operations, coordinating client communications, and ensuring smooth order processing. This role is vital for maintaining efficient sales processes, handling client inquiries, and supporting the team in meeting sales targets.
The Sales Coordinator works closely with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met, orders are fulfilled accurately, and sales activities are recorded and reported effectively. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills to drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the team's overall success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales Support and Coordination
a. Support the sales team by managing schedules, preparing presentations, and organizing sales materials.
b. Track orders from initiation to delivery and coordinate with logistics and production for timely fulfillment.
c. Facilitate effective communication between the sales team and other departments.
2. Customer Relationship Management
a. Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing order updates.
b. Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients to support repeat business and customer loyalty.
c. Handle client issues and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
3. Order Processing and Documentation
a. Process sales orders and manage order confirmations, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
b. Maintain organized records of sales transactions, contracts, and correspondence.
c. Ensure data accuracy by updating CRM systems and internal databases.
4. Reporting and Analysis
a. Prepare and analyze sales reports, tracking performance metrics and providing insights to the sales team.
b. Monitor sales targets and assist the team in strategizing to meet and exceed goals.
c. Compile data for management review and decision-making.
5. Lead Management and Follow-Up
a. Track incoming leads, qualify prospects, and assign them to appropriate team members.
b. Conduct timely follow-up on leads to assist in converting them to new sales opportunities.
6. Event and Marketing Support
a. Coordinate logistics for trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
b. Support marketing initiatives, providing promotional materials and information to clients and prospects.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 1-3 years in sales coordination, sales support, or customer service, preferably in a similar industry. WORK LOCATION:
