Job Description:
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. Your
role involves assisting customers, maintaining store appearance, and contributing to the overall
success of the sales department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Provide product information, answer inquiries, and offer assistance throughout the shopping
experience.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Actively engage in selling products by understanding customer needs and recommending
appropriate solutions.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and upselling products.
• Participate in promotional events and activities to boost sales.
• Stay informed about product features, benefits, and specifications.
• Continuously update knowledge of current trends and industry developments.
• Train and educate customers on product use when necessary.
• Ensure that merchandise is attractively displayed and the store is well-maintained.
• Implement visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment.
• Replenish and organize stock to maximize product visibility.
• Efficiently process customer transactions using the POS system.
• Handle cash and provide accurate change, while adhering to cash handling policies.
• Resolve customer issues related to transactions or product returns.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive working
environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding customer feedback
and product requests.
• Assist in training new Sales Associates when necessary.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including opening and closing duties.
