Position Overview:
As a Sales Assistant specializing in fundraising and merchandise sales, you'll be the friendly face and voice of our organization, providing exceptional service to customers at our fundraisers while promoting and selling our merchandise. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts by assisting customers with their inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience that inspires support for our cause.
Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and assist them in finding merchandise that aligns with their interests and supports our charitable initiativesProvide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations to customers to help drive sales and increase awareness of our causeProcess merchandise orders accurately and efficiently, including accepting payments, packaging items, and arranging for shipping or pickupHandle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive brand imageAssist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing merchandise display area, restocking inventory, and monitoring merchandise levelsCollaborate with the marketing team to promote merchandise sales through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and promotional eventsKeep abreast of current fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to effectively communicate with customers and drive engagementQualifications:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanorExcellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards addressing customer needs and concernsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet customer and client needsPassion for making a difference and supporting charitable causesBe willing to travel, as this is an on-site, NOT remote position
