Safety Officer

Job Title: Safety OfficerDepartment: ProductionReports to: Production Service Manager & Safety SupervisorSUMMARY OF JOB:The main duty of a Safety Officer is to ensure that all personnel of the company abides bythe safety regulations implemented in-house and on-site service areasDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Below are some, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities of a Safety Officer1. Inspects interior and exterior work areas to determine if there are any safety hazards2. Ensures that all workers wear complete personal protective equipment and followsthe company's policies on safety3. Conducts investigation during occurrence of accidents to identify cause of event4. Maintains awareness of active and developing situations5. Ensures the site safety and health plan is prepared and implemented6. Acquires work materials7. Ensures continuity using in/out briefings8. Ensures that the requirement of workers is always updated9. Conducts toolbox meeting regularly10. Processes permits and other documents needed for servicing projects11. Requests PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) needed for employees12. Coordinates and Attends client's monthly meeting regarding safety and companyrules implemented for the project13. Provides basic first-aid techniques for the company14. Assist in promoting company's services to prospects and potential clientsQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,and/or ability required.1. A graduate of college or vocational courses related to the position2. Has attended trainings on Safety, Basic Occupational Safety and Health,Construction Safety and Health, etc. relevant to the position3. Organized4. Has a good communication and interpersonal skill that can work well withothers5. Flexible and willing to work beyond the working hours6. Professional7. Has Organizational and Leadership Skills8. Proactive and can lead a team well9. Knowledgeable in the use of computer and applications such as MS Office, etc.
