JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Conduct site inspections on the mechanical and electrical requirements of customers.
2. Design mechanical and electrical works for commercial and industrial customers.
3. Prepare CAD drawings of mechanical and electrical works.
4. Prepare detailed cost estimates of mechanical and electrical works and conduct tender in accordance with company regulations.
5. Coordinate with customers to secure work permits and other preparatory work prior to mobilization of workers.
6. Construction management - ensure projects are implemented within cost and schedule / monitor progress and facilitate updates to the technical director and the client.
7. Conduct daily project meetings with technical staff regarding safety and day to day activities.
8. Supervise the construction of mechanical, electrical, and other related works and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
9. Monitor and maintain optimum inventory of fuels/LPG equipment, pipe, and fittings.
10. Coordinate with Procurement on sourcing of fuels/ LPG equipment, pipe, and fittings.
11. Ensure optimum utilization of company assets and resources
12. Conducts safety audits on fuels/LPG installation and filling plants and initiates corrective action.
13. Prepare and implement maintenance programs for fuels/ LPG facilities.
14. Mobilize team to respond promptly to emergency calls and customer complaints.
15. Organize and conduct safety training for customers and contractors.
16. Report to the Management all activities being conducted by the technical team/ coordinate regarding any technical and safety matters.
17. Supervise and monitor technical crew activities, time spent, and overtime expenses
18. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
19. Adheres to the provisions of the Company's Code of Conduct and Discipline.
20. Complies with prescribed policies and procedures of the Company, especially on safety and security.
As Safety Officer:
1. Prepare, implement and evaluate safety programs applicable for the project
2. Implement and maintain health and safety standards
3. Inspect tools and equipment and liaise with the Engineering Assistant/Manager for the repairs/replacement needed
4. Conduct daily toolbox to technical staffs and project engineers to remind them of the safe practices and hazards involve in the activities
5. Conduct meetings as needed to raise safety issues and share safe techniques and practices.
6. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measures
7. Prepare Job Hazard Analysis for the project
8. Prepare and process work permits for the project as needed
9. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
10. Record and investigate incidents to determine the cause and prepare methods and policies to prevent the recurrence of the incident
11. Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
12. Liaise with stakeholder's counterpart to ensure compliance with safety standards of the project
SALARY RANGE: 19k-23k
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Saturday
