The Safety Officer is in-charge of providing essential on-site supervision over the compliance of the day-to-day operations with the safety industry standards.
They also act as the main coordinator of TSD with the HSE Department in the implementation and compliance monitoring of standard safety procedures.
**Position Qualifications**:
- Highest Educational Attainment : College Graduate
- College Degree : Any engineering course
- Licensure Examinations Passed : Certified Safety Officer and Health
Practitioner
**General Skills**:
- Must be well-versed in Healthy, Safety and Environment requirements of the
Philippines
- Must be physically fit
- Must have basic engineering knowledge
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hard-working and dedicated individual.
**Principal Accountabilities**
ON-SITE HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT
- Supervise on-site engineering team regarding safety practices and procedures during the whole duration of the project.
- Facilitate and conduct daily tool box meetings before work commencement.
- Secure Work Permit, IWR, Hot Work Permit, etc.
for the assigned group per project.
- Represent the Company and attend the site Safety Committee Meeting regularly.
- Submit to the HSE Department.
the Weekly and Monthly group Safety Report.
- Secure the Personal Protective Equipment issuance and supplies for the group.
- Represents the group at the site or project for Safety and Welfare concerns.
- Check and certify the condition of Tools, Equipment, PPE, etc.
to be used at the site.
