As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for:
-Collaborating with the existing team to continue the development of a live web application.
-Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Ruby on Rails 7.
-Utilizing GIT for source code management and deployment processes.
-Developing automated tests for new code using RSpec and maintaining the existing test suite.
-Implementing and maintaining MVC architecture and RESTful coding standards.
-Developing front-end components with CSS and vanilla JavaScript.
-Ensuring cross-browser compatibility across major browsers (Firefox, Edge, Safari, Chrome).
-Assisting with development operations and supporting production issues as needed.
-Contributing to the peer review process for all code submissions.
-Handling production deployments independently (the deployment process is straightforward).
As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you need to have:
-At least 2+ years of experience using Ruby on Rails 7
-Background in Frontend Development Using CSS and JavaScript
-Proficient in testing using RSpec
-Has good experience with version control using Git.
-Skilled in PostgreSQL
-Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
-Experienced with REST API Development
-Familiar with AWS, CloudFlare, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
-Knowledgeable about services like Twilio and Stripe
-Excellent Verbal and Written English Communication Skills
It's not required but it would be great if you have:
-Experience with ReactNative and Real Estate projects
Working Hours: 10 PM to 7 AM Philippine time
