JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
I. OPERATIONAL
? Greets guests and responding to queries.
? Changes bed linen and making beds.
? Replaces used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
? Sweeps and mopping floors.
? Vacuums carpets.
? Dusts and polishes furniture.
? Empties trash containers.
? Restocks beverages and food items in the mini bar; reports if mini bar items are nearing its expiration.
? Cleans public areas, such as corridors.
? Reports any technical issues and maintenance needs.
? Updates status of guest rooms on assignment sheet.
? Returns and restocks cleaning cart at shift end.
II. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
? Attend all meetings, training activities or classes related to the assigned position as required.
III. SAFETY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for all guests and staff members.
? Follow proper procedures and instructions at all times to prevent damage of any kind to ship or company property.
? Know and comply with Philippine Public Health: hygiene and sanitation.
IV. Rules and Regulations pertaining to the assigned working area.
? Comply with Lafayette Luxury Suites Operating Procedures Resources.
V. Other Duties and Responsibilities

· Must be able to communicate effectively.
· Must adhere to specific scheduled work hours, yet be flexible if circumstances require it.
· Work with team members whether it's senior or a newbie.
· Perform assigned duties under pressure (time constraints).
· Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
· Excellent organizational and team management skills
· Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

IX. Education/experience/certifications
· High School Diploma or better
· Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience.
· Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
· Flexible working hours.
· Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
· Physical mobility and stamina.
· Ability to follow instruction.
· Professional and polite.
