The Risk Services Associate is responsible for analyzing and mitigating risks associated with financial transactions and operations within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. InfoSec Governance
Assist in implementing information security guidelines and protocols, ensuring comprehension and adherence.Participate in risk reviews for IT projects to assess risks and recommend measures to safeguard company data, ensuring alignment with information security policies.Assist in investigating incidents related to information security, data breaches, or operational events as needed.
2. Governance Risk Framework
Contribute to designing and developing the governance risk framework aligned with organizational objectives.Support the development and upkeep of policies and procedures relevant to risk management within the business.Aid in identifying and assessing current and emerging risks in business operations.Assist in data gathering and analysis for management reporting purposes.
3. Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework
Assist in developing and maintaining business continuity management documentation, including emergency response, crisis management, and business recovery plans across business functions.Provide support to management and business units during business disruptions. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.Minimum 1 year of experience in Governance, Information Security, Risk Management, KYC, or similar roles in ecommerce, insurance, banking, or financial services.Knowledge of risk management concepts and experience in risk assessments, data protection reviews, or business continuity management.Open to candidates with an IT background (systems, networks, or database administration).Some project management experience is preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including policy and procedure writing experience.Understanding of risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements such as Data Privacy Act, AML/CFT.
