Risk Management Officer

Responsibilities: Responsible for operational risk monitoring, management and regulatory reporting in the frequency needed. Formulates and implements operational risk assessment methodology and risk reporting system. Conducts operational risk analysis as applicable (RCSA, Risk Incident Monitoring, KRI, etc.) and uses the information to recommend adequate action from risk-takers and/or management. Oversees business continuity management procedures for the company and serves as the point of contact in times of emergency. Ensures proper risk assessment on vendors outsourced through the approved Outsourcing Policy. Coordinates operational risk management activities across the organization. Prepares operational risk analysis and reports for Management, Board of Directors thru the Risk Oversight Committee (FMIC-ROC), Risk Management Committee (FMS-RMC), Audit Committee (FAMI-AuditCom) and other relevant stakeholders;Provides operational risk management support, awareness and advice to the company. Coordinates with MBTC and business units (Compliance, Internal/External Audit, etc.) on operational risk matters. Provides support to the Risk Management team whenever necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Engineering; Post graduate degree preferred. Preferably 1 year (if associate) or at least 3 years (if officer) of work experience in related field. Knowledgeable on operations controls; Excel spreadsheet generation, Basic statistics. Patient, has a keen eye for details, highly driven, can work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; good and clear communication skills. Must be willing to work full time onsite in Makati City.
