Pay and Benefits: Competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentiveComprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on locationPension / Retirement benefitsPaid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).The Impact you will have in this role: The External Engagement function provides the primary internal interface between the Group Chief Risk Office and DTCC organizations to facilitate responses to client, regulatory, and audit queries on operational and technology risk controls. This function facilitates coordinated, consistent, timely, and accurate responses to clients, its regulators, and internal and external audit partners by becoming trusted partners with their stakeholders. Risk, Audit, Client and Regulatory Engagement assists in providing the strategic vision and tactical execution of DTCC advocacy and thought leadership in cybersecurity, resilience, and new and emerging technology risk. In this capacity, Risk, Audit, Client and Regulatory Engagement advocates for specific regulatory and legislative outcomes in these areas through engaging financial authorities and institutions on key risk issues and its partnerships with industry groups and trade associations. External Engagement is responsible for providing the interface between Operational and Technology Risk (OTR) subject matter experts and DTCC clients, auditors, and financial examiners to facilitate information and evidence sharing resulting from questionnaires and examination requests. External Engagement is responsible for the execution of the DTCC Client Cyber Program, an assurance program designed to provide reasonable assurance that DTCC Systemically Important Financial Market Utility (SIFMU) clients are using an industry-accepted cybersecurity framework to manage its cybersecurity risks.
Your Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for driving client and regulatory requests for information on DTCC operational and cybersecurity controls to completion. Responsible for meeting group's delivery service level agreements (SLAs).Proficient understanding of the business product lines and service offerings. Working understanding of a broad range of risk areas including: cybersecurity, information security, resilience, security policies, and standards.Adhere to group's policies and standards. Manage client and regulatory expectations for DTCC responses and translate policy and procedure goals to clear objectives.Ability to develop business relationships with key partners to drive responsiveness.Serves as the primary point of contact for the Risk, Audit, Client and Regulatory Engagement Team. Drive program enhancements for the Client, Audit, and Regulatory Engagement process to completion. Drive cross training of team members across the group.Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of related experienceBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experienceTalents Needed for Success: Serves as a trusted coach or mentor within the organization.Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.Preferably has background working in Client Service environment.Amenable to work US hoursPreferable with background in Regulatory; Risk; Audit experience.The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
